Motorsport Summer Camp Fun!
Camp Motorsport is an exciting and dynamic motorsport-focused summer camp for children ages 9-17. Your child will get the tools they need to build confidence and become a proficient driver, while learning new skills and making new friends.
Camp Motorsport is located on 406 acres of rolling meadow surrounded by woods and bordered by the Staunton River. Your camper will experience hands-on driving instruction and participate in a variety of traditional summer camp activities.
Campers receive basic and expert instruction in the classroom as well as on our one-mile paved go-kart track and 20 miles of off-road tracks and trails. They learn basic driving techniques like determining driving lines and proper hand placement in addition to more advanced techniques such as threshold braking.
DRIVING ADVENTURES
Camp Motorsport’s go-kart track is just over one mile long, with 15 unique turns and 3 distinctive configurations. Campers master their skills and dramatically increase track time on a daily basis. 20 miles of off-road tracks and wooded trails provide a variety of terrain and difficulty levels for beginner and experienced off-road drivers, from hill climbs to creek crossings!
SUMMER CAMP FUN
Camp Motorposrt is a place where your child can safely test their physical and mental limits through outdoor adventure activities. In a challenge-by-choice environment, every camper is supported to try activities such as swimming, canoeing, go-karting, or the giant swing. At Camp Motorsport, campers also experience an amazing social community of kids and staff from around the world!

Interested in exploring our other camp programs? At Camp CHOP we cater a fun and dynamic experience for young chefs who are passionate about the culinary arts. No experience is necessary! Campers are able to develop basic culinary skills or expand on the knowledge that they already possess!
Or maybe a peek into the final frontier? At AstroCamp, campers shoot for the stars as they experiment in hands-on science labs, get astronomy training, and participate in a variety of camp activities that include traditional summer camp fun!

Refer a Friend – Does your camper have a friend who wants to attend one of our programs? If you get another child to sign up for camp, you will receive $100 per referral toward your camper’s tuition, and the camper you referred will receive $50 towards their tuition. If you are already registered and have a friend who wants to attend, contact our summer camp registrar at registrar@gdi.org and we will walk you through applying your savings.
Sibling Discount – Save $100 on each additional sibling who registers for any of our programs. Simply sign up and the discount will automatically apply to your account.
