THE PARENT GUIDE FOR CAMP MOTORSPORT
The Parent Guide for Camp Motorsport is designed to help you prepare your child campers for summer camp and to answer all your questions. Camp Motorsport strives to provide the very best experience for campers and parents. Below, we have prepared a list of topics that will guide you along the way and make for an easier preparation. Go through each topic and read the information carefully. Each topic should address your questions and give you essential information. If you do not find what you are looking for, and you feel you need additional information, please email our registrar at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 888-366-6128 and ask for Jodi Zalanka. We look forward to serving you and your child at Camp Motorsport’s science and adventure summer camp.
DOES MY CAMPER NEED A PHYSICAL?
YES. The physician’s examination form is available through the “Camp Forms & Documents” link on your online account. Have this form completed by your physician prior to the start of camp. The physical must have taken place within one year of the start of their enrolled session.
If there are any activities that you DO NOT wish your camper to participate in, please contact the Summer Camp Director.
CAMPERS TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM CAMP MOTORSPORT
Transportation to and from Camp Motorsport is the responsibility of the camper’s parent or guardian unless arrangements have been made with Camp Motorsport through the transportation form.
Camp Motorsport provides transportation from and to the RDU airport only. Please log in to your camper account and complete the transportation form with the arrangements you have made to drop off and/or pick up your camper at camp. If someone other than the primary guardian listed in your camper account is picking up your camper, the name and contact number of that person must be provided to allow us to release your camper to them.
My son just attended the 2 week session and absolutely loved it! He can not stop talking about everything he learned and the things he did. This is a great camp! I was really impressed at how engaged the leaders were. They seem to really love what they do and it showed! Thank you Camp Motorsport! He had a great time and requested that we send him back every year!

Meet our team
All cabin counselors are current university students with a background working with children. Applicants go through a rigorous hiring process including multiple interviews, a background check, and drug testing. Many cabin counselors were even campers themselves!
Counselors go through an intensive 8-day training program prior to any campers arriving at camp. They are trained in team-building, group-leading, child development, safety, and being sensitive to individual campers’ needs and life experiences. Counselors complete training with the tools and knowledge to support campers through common camp challenges such as homesickness, trying new things, and friendship building.
